What the app cannot do¶
This page explains which functions Rillsoft Connect deliberately does not offer and where you can get further instead.
The app covers the daily work on site: reporting time, approving time, photos and documents, requesting vacation, reading the project plan. Much of what Rillsoft Integration Server can do beyond that is reserved for the web interface. This is a deliberate decision, not an error.

Change a confirmed time |
Confirmed shifts (✓✓) are locked. Supervisors make the correction on the web, see Time sheet. Only transferred times (✓) can be changed by you in the app, see Correct a shift. |
Delete a shift |
A shift created by mistake and not yet reported disappears on its own with the next refresh. The app does not delete reported shifts; a delete function right next to the controls would be too easy to trigger by mistake. Correct the times or contact your supervisors. |
Move a day to a different date |
Create the day you want directly on the right date with the round plus button of the time recording. |
Set progress in percent |
The app reports times and remaining effort, not a percentage. The task card also deliberately shows no percentage, but the open hours of the people you see. Rillsoft Integration Server has this function; use the web interface for it. |
View the journal and its warnings |
Only on the web. The app shows the most important warning when you create a day: “Date is outside the task period”. |
Change the planning |
The app never changes planned times. The plan board shows the project plan read-only. Planning is done in Rillsoft Integration Server. |
Sign out offline |
Signing out only works with an internet connection, so that no unsent data is lost. |
Extend the sign-in automatically |
If your sign-in expires, sign in again. Your data not yet transferred is kept. |
Set a separate dark mode |
The app follows the setting of your device. |
